Gomoku

Connect exactly 5 of the same stones in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally).

Set your stone on any vacant spot of the board. Try to form a row of 5 stones in a sequence, either sideways, vertically, or at an angle. Stop your rival from achieving their own line of 5. Switch setting stones with your opponent until one player succeeds in creating a row of 5. Keep in mind that the contest ends immediately when a line of five is formed, with no need to cover the entire board.
